Take Back Manufacturing

One of the most politically charged decisions any future Canadian government faces is what to do with immigration in Canada that has significantly exceeded all other G7 countries in its growth and levels.
 

Future Prosperity for our citizens is of major concern and is clearly linked to our approach to immigration, and the bottom line is that more immigration will result in even lower overall prosperity.
 

The current government has been wrong in trying to pull us out of low prosperity through growth and in the future cannot depend on resources to pull us out of declining prosperity. 
 

Its also clear that reshoring our manufacturing in keeping with the USMCA trade policies is essential to reduce imports and improve the out-of-control trade balance, as well as position us for more value adding and higher paying jobs that can pay much higher than the declining service jobs and greatly assist with national prosperity.
 

Further, the only way to gain productivity and support any level of reshoring is to automate and improve our business and industrial processes with both capital and education for our citizens. Not keep adding to the workforce. So, we need far less immigration and much more capital investment and re-learning per citizen. This is especially true with the predicted flat economic growth.
 

Also, Immigration has proved to be an ineffective way to add any capacity to the national workforce with most immigration arriving from third-world countries with highly questionable abilities to take part in our economy without significant re-education and training. 

Also, immigration will continue to stress our infrastructure of housing, health care and educational systems that are already overloaded and performing badly.
 

So, its clear we need everyone to understand the need for increased industrial investment and significant citizen re-learning to become productive manufacturers again. 
 

We need to avoid immigration so we can start to see an increase in productivity and gain back prosperity for all our citizens. 
 

The alternative is more immigration, more government handouts, more debt, and inevitably lower prosperity … you must choose the next time you vote!
